Patients and visitors are advised Helix Medical Centre will be closed from 1.30pm on the below dates to enable mandatory staff training to take place as per NHS Central East Integrated Care Board guidance:

If you have a medical emergency during this period, Herts Urgent Care NHS call handlers will do their best to assist.
Call NHS111 - our answer phone can provide patients with further details.
Only patients with pre booked appointments should ‘check in’ at the screen and take a seat in the waiting area after 1.30pm, whereby the GP, Nurse or Midwife will collect you. If there are no scheduled clinics, the waiting area will be closed.
No other patients will be seen during a training shutdown period.
The online consultation system Accurx will be closed.
For all other queries, phones lines reopen at 5.30pm.
Normal service will resume at 8.00am the following day.
