'Did Not Attend' Appointment Statistics
Missed appointments cause valuable and limited NHS resources to be wasted.
These are always recorded in an individual's record and constant misuse of the system may result in the irrecoverable breakdown of Doctor / Patient relations.
As part of our commitment to all our patients we monitor the efficient use of appointments. If a patient regularly fails to attend a booked appointment, the surgery reserves the right to remove them from the list.
Please contact us immediately if you need to change an appointment.
We do of course understand that some circumstances can lead to appointments being missed and would appreciate you letting us know when this is the case.
Cancelling an Appointment
Please remember to cancel your appointment if you are unable to attend, giving at least 30 minutes notice.
Your co-operation is appreciated and will enable other patients in need to utilise a cancelled appointment slot, this also assists in reducing waiting times.
You can use any of the following methods:
- Cancel online using SystmOnline (if you are already registered). Login to SystmOnline
