Young People can still ask questions on sex and relationships via the Sexual Health texting service on 07860 057 369. They can also visit YCH www.ychertfordshire.org/support-for-young-people to receive guidance and support on a range of issues, including health and wellbeing.
Pharmacies are open and can provide oral emergency contraception.
If you have had unprotected sex and you want emergency contraception, you can buy the morning after pill from any pharmacy. Some pharmacies continue to offer this free to under 25s.

Contraceptive pill: age 16 years or older, order online though the SH:24 contraceptive service. Discreet delivery to your home.
Following completion of the online proforma an SH:24 clinician will review the request and clinical history. If any potential contraindications are identified the user will be contacted (via text message and/ or phone call) for further information and for a discussion regarding suitable contraceptive options.
The user will then be given either 3, 6 or 12 months supply, which is then posted to their chosen address.
Emergency contraception: age 16 years or older, order free and confidential emergency contraception on line from SH:24 .Discreet delivery to your home.
Testing for STIs with no symptoms order a free test through the SH:24 home testing service. Discreet delivery to your home. Please note that low risk individuals will be sent tests for Chlamydia / Gonorrhoea but not HIV / Syphilis as these are less likely to be necessary.
